Possibilities Project - An excellent resource for anyone looking for information on employment, education or training. The Possibilities Project features a monthly e-zine that provides valuable information on career profiles and dates for job finding clubs.

Ombudsman Ontario - helps people resolve problems by investigating complaints they have with provincial government ministries, agencies, boards, commissions and tribunals. The office cannot deal with matters regarding federal or municipal government, the courts, and the private sector. Ombudsman Ontario is independent of the government and is a place of last resort when other approaches to resolve complaints have been tried. Services provided are confidential.

NALD - The National Adult Literacy Database is a single-source, comprehensive, up-to-date and easily accessible database of adult literacy programs, resources and services across Canada. International links are also available.

Alpha Plus Centre - Alpha Plus Centre is the gateway for resources on adult literacy and language learning in Ontario. Their primary focus is to facilitate communication and provide forums for discussions and materials to practitioners, tutors, volunteers, researchers and organizations working in the fields of adult literacy and language learning. Their clientele includes the Francophone, Anglophone, Deaf, Native, and second language learning communities in Ontario.

Community Literacy of Ontario - This is an organization which exists to support and promote English language community-based literacy programs in Ontario through consultation, information sharing and program support.

Independent Learning Centre - ILC is part of the Ontario Ministry of Education and Training, and it offers correspondence courses in a wide range of courses that allow adults to earn secondary school diploma credits, upgrade their basic skills, or study for personal development. As well, the Ministry's General Education Development (GED) testing program is available through ILC.

Ministry of Education - The Ministry of Educaiton is a government department responsible for the administration of laws relating to education. This site provides news, information, publications, and related links.

Metro Toronto Movement for Literacy - MTML is a network of organizations and individuals who are involved in and support adult literacy. MTML provides leadership and works actively to develop and promote adult literacy in Toronto and York Region.

Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities - The Constitution Act gives exclusive authority to each province in Canada to make laws in relation to education. In Ontario, the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities are responsible for the administration of laws relating to education and skills training.

ABC Canada - ABC Canada is a joint initiative of business and labor, supporting the development of an educated and adaptable workforce through the fostering of a lifelong learning culture. ABC Canada is a non-profit organization.

Movement for Canadian Literacy - Movement for Canadian Literacy is a non-profit organization representing many literacy coalitions, organizations, and individuals in every province and territory.

Employment Ontario - a portal to all of the different services and service providers under the Employment Ontario umbrella.
